The Family Business

Okay, insert really bad Godfather impression here about the "business". Haha. Mom started a photography business a while ago, as you all have most likely been made aware of by now via facebook. When she first obtained her fancy-dancy camera a few Christmases ago she was most eager for our own personal family shots. High school dances subsequently became an artistic outlet until she snowballed into her freelance business today: Ann's Artistry. (jamessucese@comcast.net)

I just want to shout to the world: I AM SO PROUD OF MY MOTHER! She worked as a bank teller for so loooooong and did some other jobs after that, but I have never seen her so happy or proud of her work before. She's making an artistic stamp on the world; leaving her mark and all that. With all of the in-family gigs she gets, she gets to see our "relationals" more frequently and she never tires of family. (My inner, angst ridden 13-year-old will attest to this...)

Again, I'm so proud of my Mother! It's good to see her doing something she enjoys, she deserves it! You can bet she'll be apart of my wedding (as well as others) When it comes to the photos on my most important day, you know I'll keep it in the family. I LOVE YOU MOM!

YAY MCCALLE!

Hello invisible followers,

Guess what? After months of agony and endless applications, McCalle got a job! She is now employed at the Tinseltown theaters in Layton. So, if you go to the movies, make sure to say hi! She's worked very hard to get employed so we're so proud of her.

When my Mom, McCalle, Madelynn and me (whoa, a lot of m's there) went shopping for Easter dresses, McCalle was in a pretty good mood but the thought of paid work lingered in the back of her mind. Whilst in our CRV on the way to Ross's, Dad had received a call back home. He called McCalle urgently, without revealing anything, to call the theaters back. When McCalle called we all scrambled for pen and paper. She hung up and proclaimed that she was indeed employed! We gave the most loud, high-pitched girly scream you've ever heard. Maddy even covered her ears, annoyed and said, "Geez!"

Signing out!

Check THIS out!

Hello everyone!
So, Dad got an award from the Secretary of Defense! Crazy, huh? It just arrived a little while ago. We're very proud of it. Below is the certificate that came with it. Click on it to see it in its FULL size!

Hello!

The Sucese family is doing mostly well! Dad took today off and Mom's a little sick this week, but she's getting a lot of rest.

Well spring is in the air and that means...yard work! Too bad I, Taylor, am stuck helplessly here in Logan. Ah, darn! Guess McCalle will have some weeding to do. Don't worry, McCalle, it builds character! Spring also means the cats, Neko and Jazz, are shedding. They have to be combed at least once every other day. They usually love it, but we think they may be getting sick of it because when Jazz saw Neko getting combed, he darted out of the room!

Speaking of McCalle! She's looking for a job right now. She is aspiring to be a chef and she may apply for a culinary school in Provo. She loves cooking and we all love it too. Mmmm!

Maddy is loving first grade, as always. She's a great student and she loves reading. She's also an excellent gamer, if I say so myself. I have trained her well in the ways of nerdiness. (One of the first phrases I ever taught her to say is "Johnny Depp hot!" and "I'm disinclined to acquiesce your request." when approached about being a ninja.)

Anyway, we're all excited about summer. We'll be together as a complete family unit, joy! I'm excited because it means free food and board! *ahem* I mean, it means being surrounded by the best people in the world! Aha...ha...ha...

Later!

Duty Calls

 Hello everyone!

As you all know, we are a very patriotic family. We have always served our country the best way we knew how. We've always respected the flag and all of the military departments, especially the Air Force. When Dad served in Iraq in 2008-2009 and he did extremely well while he was there. He made significant progress in the technical department in Baghdad. He received not only a promotion, but a few distinguished awards for his service overseas.
Once again, Dad has been asked by the government to return to Iraq. This is a result of the lack of volunteers willing to work in the Middle East. He has been promised another promotion, this one bigger than the last time.
Us kids are not exactly excited about the prospect but we are here to support him every step of the way. We know that we will also have family and church membership support as well. Mom is okay with it for anyone who is concerned. Dad will be leaving in April and he will be gone for a sixth month period. Please keep us in your prayers!
